  1. Amy I wanted to comment on your book resource, A Child Called It. I think this is an excellent book that opens your eyes to what some children have to face when being abused by their families. I cried the whole time I read this book. I just couldn't understand as a mother how you could hurt your child like that. This is a book that really gives you a front row seat on what happens behind closed doors.

  2. Hi Amy,
I like the additional resources that you added to your blog.I will be adding them to mine so I will have more to use throughout the degree. Also, like Nicole I have read the book, A Child Called It. I have also read all three books that start from David's childhood up until his adulthood. All three are tear jerkers, but brings you to be an eye opener of children around you.

  3. Hi Amy,
I have also read A Child Called It, I find it so interesting that you listed that book as a resource. I had to read the book for a child psychology class years ago and I remember feeling just awful for the child as I read it. Definitely a powerful resource.
